What's free, and what does Plus cost?
Free: the rituals, your journal, your sky, all 1,560 affirmations, the 13 playlists and eight soundscapes, the courses Finding Calm and Three Minutes for You, the Manifesting course through chapter 2 and all 85 daily tasks. Enara Plus is $59.99 a year, which works out to $5 a month, or $12.99 month to month. It adds conversations with memory, greetings, notes and the 4 pm nudge, weekly reflections and the monthly letter, messages from your future self, all six courses, the moon ritual, all templates, and talk instead of typing.
Do I have to cancel anything after my free days?
No. You never enter payment info for the free days, so there's nothing to charge and nothing to cancel. When they end, Enara switches to the free version on her own. A subscription only starts if you buy one yourself in the store.
What happens if I cancel Plus?
Everything you wrote stays in your journal. You can keep reading your conversations with Enara and keep listening to your messages from your future self. Monthly letters, though, only open with Plus. Nothing new from Plus is created after that, and your rituals carry on for free.
How often will Enara reach out?
On the free version, she reminds you of your rituals at the morning and evening times you set. With Plus, those reminders become greetings in her own words, and on top there's at most one nudge a day, always at 4 pm. You pick how often it comes: Rarely, Sometimes or Daily. It starts on Rarely, and each kind of message has its own switch.
Does an AI read my journal?
Only after you say yes. Before that, no text goes to an AI. Once you agree, setup sends only your conversation with Enara. With Plus, her replies, greetings and nudges also draw on a slice of your account, including your profile and wish, your getting to know you conversation, your recent ritual answers, her own weekly summaries and, as long as Let Enara read what I write is on, your free pages. Our AI providers don't use any of it to train their models. You can take your yes back anytime in Settings, and the privacy policy lists every detail.
Where are my entries stored?
In your account, on servers in Frankfurt, Germany, sent over an encrypted connection so they're there on any new phone. Enara has no ads. You can delete your account with all your entries yourself, right in the app. The privacy policy covers the rest, including your rights under the GDPR.
Is Maya real?
No. We made up Maya, who runs her own clothing label, to show you the app on a real example. Her wish, her journal days and her messages to Enara were written by us. Every reply from Enara came from the actual app, and since Enara writes something new each time, yours will read differently. Maya is not a customer, and nothing on this page is a testimonial.
Are the people in the photos real?
No. Every photo here is a mood image made with AI, which is why each one carries the label AI image. The app screens are real, captured in example account Maya.
Is Enara a replacement for therapy?
No. Enara is a tool for self reflection and wellbeing, and it doesn't replace medical or therapeutic care. If you write to her in a crisis, she points you to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, free and around the clock by call or text, and to findahelpline.com if you're outside the US.
Is Enara on Android?
Yes. Enara is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android, in English and German. Switch phones, and your account comes with you.
Do I have to believe in the Universe?
No. The Universe comes up in a few set places: every evening, when you let something go, Enara invites you to hand it over to the Universe, some affirmations name it, and Trusting the Universe is one of the 17 affirmation themes. In her own replies she mentions it rarely. Your rituals, your journal and your sky work the same, whatever you believe.
